Photojournalism
I supported journalists by attending events with them and using a DSLR to capture key moments.
My favorite memory was meeting Reality Club, a popular band from Indonesia who were extremely down-to-earth.
After my first year, I joined the team as a Photo Editor, creating a refined visual request flow. I collaborated on critical stories covering sensitive topics.
Data Visualization
I supported journalists by using data tools to break down their datasets and extract patterns (Datawrapper and Google Sheets).
I then redesigned it for our social media (Figma) and website (Figma2html).
On the New School Free Press, I started the Data Visualization team, creating guidelines and initial workflows.
